Cold BC mornings are hard on batteries – most last four to six years. Your mechanic tests the old one, fits a new battery with the right cold cranking amps (CCA) and checks the alternator is charging properly. Old batteries are recycled.

Usually about 30 minutes. Your mechanic will tell you if your vehicle needs longer.
Can it be done at my home?
In most cases, yes. Mobile mechanics need a safe, level place where they're allowed to work, such as a driveway, carport or quiet street (check your strata rules). If your job needs a shop we'll let you know before you pay anything.
Is the price fixed?
Yes. The price on your quote is what you pay. If the mechanic finds something else, they'll explain it and give you a separate price – nothing extra is done without your OK.
