About MyLocalMechanic BC
We're building the fairest way to book a mechanic in British Columbia.
Independent mechanics keep BC's vehicles on the road, from Vancouver condos to Okanagan acreages. Many are brilliant at the job but lose a big slice of every booking to platforms that charge a percentage. We think that's backwards.
MyLocalMechanic BC was started by Vernon with a simple idea: charge mechanics a flat $5.00 per completed job, nothing more, and give drivers a fixed, honest price up front. Mechanics keep what they earn, and customers get good work at a fair price. We're starting in British Columbia and growing from there.
