What the job involves
A basic service is the quick top-up between full services. It suits vehicles that cover a lot of kilometres or do lots of short trips. Your mechanic changes the engine oil and oil filter, then works through the key safety checks so small problems are caught early.
You get a written list of what was checked and anything that needs attention later. We never carry out extra work without asking you first.
